OverviewOur Client based in Boldon Colliery are recruiting for an Electrical CAD Engineer to be based within their engineering team on a permanent basis.SalaryUp to 40k depending on experienceHours of WorkMonday to Thursday 08:30am - 5pmFriday 08:30am - 1.30pmResponsibilitiesProducing 2D electrical schematics and interconnection drawings for LV Distribution and Control.Interpret customer requirements and technical specifications and responsibility for the following:Solidworks / AutoCad operator focusing on electrical requirements of the Engineering Dept.Knowledge / experience of electrical control panel design for industrial equipment.Read, understand and produce LV Electrical front of panel layout drawings, LV electrical control schematics and interconnection diagrams derived from customer, and internal, specifications.Liaise with workshop staff to create SOPs and streamline electrical equipment design and build within the company.Good database and computer skills.
