£33,000 - £38,000 Plus Excellent Benefits

The Company

My client is a leading bespoke product manufacturer known for its quality, innovation and excellent working culture. They are also party of a global business that supplies into multiple sectors both in the UK and internationally.

As part of their ongoing expansion, they have an excellent opportunity for an experienced CAD Engineer to create accurate and timely 3D CAD drawings for both standard and bespoke manufactured products.

The Role

As a key member of the Design & Engineering team, the CAD Engineer will support a wide range of functions and ultimately ensure that all customer requirements are met.

Additional responsibilities will include:

* Translating specifications into manufacturable designs

* Ensuring design accuracy and traceability.

* Supporting any required engineering design changes

* On-Time-Delivery of drawing packages

* Participating in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process

* Collaborating with internal teams to ensure practical, cost-effective, and compliant solutions

* Maintaining a reliable and structured design data management system

* Addressing NCRs and updating documentation accordingly.

* Ensuring all outputs meet relevant compliance and Health & Safety standards

* Reduction in NCR’s

* Undertake any other reasonable duties or tasks to support operational needs and business objectives

The Candidate

The ideal CAD Engineer will have proven experience in a CAD design or engineering role within a manufacturing or construction-related industry. You will have proficiency in 3D CAD software (i.e. SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or equivalent).

You will also have:

* Experience in producing bespoke manufacturing drawings

* The ability to interpret technical specifications and customer requirements

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative mindset

* Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail

Understanding of DriveWorks would be advantageous

The Benefits

In return, the successful CAD Engineer will receive an excellent salary and benefits package that includes a salary of up to £38,000 (dependent upon experience)
