CAD Engineer – Bristol or Remote
A well-established building services business specialising in low-carbon energy systems and heat network design is expanding its mechanical team. With a growing portfolio of high-impact energy projects across the UK, including city-scale heat networks and complex energy centres, the team is looking to bring in skilled engineers to support ongoing delivery and future growth.
Projects span sectors such as healthcare, education, and high end commercial, with major schemes underway or planned in many major UK cities including Bristol, London and Nottingham.
The Opportunity:
We are recruiting for a CAD Engineer on a full-time, permanent basis. The role can be based either remotely or from the Bristol office, with the option for hybrid working.
This is a hands-on role working on the delivery of district heating and energy infrastructure projects. You’ll produce technical drawings, layouts, and schematics that support the design and installation of complex energy systems across residential and commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce and manage CAD drawings for district heating systems, energy centres, and plant rooms.
* Create detailed 2D/3D layouts, schematics, and coordinated plantroom designs.
* Work closely with mechanical engineers and contractors to ensure accurate and timely drawing delivery.
* Support coordination and integration of low-carbon systems within wider building services designs.
