CBM Reliability Engineer

Overview

Location: This role will be up to 1-2 days WFH and 2-3 days at our Durrington office. Occasional site visits across the south east coast. We are currently recruiting for a Condition Based Monitoring Reliability Engineers. The successor will offer expertise in analysing condition data trends to detect potential failures and recommend appropriate maintenance actions primary aim to increase reliability and minimise downtime. You will be joining us to expand the team to be more focussed on delivering strategies within Wastewater, aiming to switch from reactive to planned maintenance and aiming to become a reliability centred maintenance function in our AMP 8 investment period.

Responsibilities

  • Analysing condition data trends to detect potential failures and recommend appropriate maintenance actions
  • Managing condition monitoring systems to track asset health in real-time
  • Forecasting failures using predictive models and providing actionable insights to improve asset reliability
  • Developing maintenance schedules based on asset condition and integrating data with CMMS systems
  • Work closely with maintenance technicians to ensure that they understand the condition of assets and follow maintenance recommendations accurately
  • Preparing reports and performance summaries for senior management that demonstrate the effectiveness of CBM

Qualifications

  • A technical minded individual with a strong technical skillset
  • Proficiency in vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasonic testing, and other CBM Methods.
  • Experience in Reliability-focused strategies (RCM, PM, CBM)
  • Knowledge of predictive analytics, machine learning, and failure prediction models
  • Familiarity with CMMS and EAM software
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and ICA assets
  • Experience in analysing, operating, maintaining assets
  • Able to prioritise, manage own time efficiently and meet work targets / deadlines
  • Capable of effective cross functional stakeholder engagement
  • Great problem-solving and communication skills
  • Flexible approach to work with an engaging personal style
  • Strong logical and analytical skills, along with excellent planning skills
  • Have an Engineering degree or equivalent Industry accredited, specialised, training courses defined by ISO18436; Vibration Analysis, Infrared Imaging, Ultrasonic testing, Oil Analysis

  • This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.
