Overview

Join to apply for the CCTV Drainage Engineer role at Lanes Group. This is a permanent full-time role, working 47.5 hours per week, based at the Manchester Depot. Location: Eccles, Manchester. Hours: 47.5 hours per week. Weekend and evening work will be required at times. Salary: Up to £14.95 p/h dependent on experience. Enhanced overtime rates. Life Assurance. Auto enrolment pension scheme.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CCTV equipment to inspect and assess the condition of foul and surface water drainage systems
  • Produce accurate reports and condition assessments using industry-standard software (Wincan)
  • Locate and diagnose drainage issues such as blockages, structural defects, infiltration and root ingress; provide recommendations for remedial action
  • Liaise with Project managers and engineers to deliver high quality survey data
  • Maintain and calibrate survey equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working order
  • Carry out confined space entries where required (with appropriate training and certification)
  • Provide support in emergency response situations involving drainage failures or flooding
  • Ensure daily job sheets, risk assessments and method statements are completed

Key Skills Required

  • Driver with less than 6 penalty points
  • Experience working with drainage CCTV surveys and coding
  • Be able to travel to the Depot each day
  • Ability to work in a 2 person team
  • IT skills including Excel
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • OX19 preferable
  • CSCS Card preferable
