Our client, a fast-growing next-generation battery developer and spin-out from the University of Cambridge, is at the forefront of lithium-sulphur battery technology. They are seeking Cell Engineer to join their innovative team and contribute to advancing high energy density cell development.
The Cell Engineer will:
Manufacture pouch cells for development with hands-on precision. Operate in dry rooms with semi-automated and automated pouch cell manufacturing equipment, including set-up and optimisation. Collaborate with wider teams to ensure work plans and deliverables align with technical and project goals. Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, escalate issues as required, and suggest improvements. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support technical and quality standards. The Cell Engineer will have:
Proven experience in cell manufacturing (required). Excellent communication and organisational skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. Desire to develop a broad range of technical skills and knowledge. Good dexterity with strong problem-solving abilities, knowing when to seek guidance.
