Salary: £47683+ Depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

Creation and management of the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) Buildings & Infrastructure (B&I) Programme level risk log for all in-scope projects requiring risk escalation at a programme level

Management of FCAS B&I Programme level change for all in-scope projects
-
Document all aspects of the required change through a robust and agreed process to ensure timely decisions and contract instructions can be made

Management of all live FCAS B&I programme level dependencies in respect of in-scope projects

Supporting other FM functions in quantification and reporting of ongoing impacts and cost escalations as a result of late change approvals & failed dependencies

Validation of the AED, risk and change data to ensure accuracy through ongoing interactions with required stakeholders

Interface with forecast reporting data into the FCAS secure Infrastructure team for inclusion in customer budgeting / management discussions in support of Capital Works contract budget / AP contract for year bids

Ongoing support to PC team from a forecasting / re-forecasting perspective for all future works, on the maturity of change and risk implications

The Infrastructure & Facilities Services (IFS) FCAS PM delivery Team:
The Future Combat Air System (FCAS) Programme of works has a target in service delivery date of 2035. As part of the Infrastructure & Facilities Services (IFS) FCAS PM delivery team you will be involved in delivering new / upgraded facilities & infrastructure capability in support of development of the new aircraft system. The changes required to the Warton unit to allow capability insertion are akin to a ‘once in a lifetime’ developmental programme of works, currently standing at 94 onsite facility / infrastructure packages of work across Samlesbury & Warton. The scale of the task will see onsite construction works, the like of which have not been experienced previously and will have impacts beyond the fence line and into the local communities. This ambitious site wide transformation is being delivered against several complex considerations and currently fluid backdrop in terms of:
• High level security classifications requirements,
• A maturity contractual framework with client’
• Scale / size & capacity issues at both sites, along with other Air programme and export customer needs
• The need to ensure current operations are maintain with negligible / no impact.
