Whether working remotely or in-person, we strive to make every day fun and engaging; from team lunches to trivia competitions to local outings, there is always something exciting happening at KnowBe4.Role summaryThe Channel Sales Engineer is a vital member of the Channel Sales team with primary responsibility for providing pre-sales technical support to prospective partners/clients for KnowBe4 products, and to educate partners on KnowBe4 products to enable them in supporting their clients. The role also collaborates with other business units to address complex technical issues.Responsibilities:Communicate directly with prospective partners to gather details to fully define technical issues or customer requirements.Maintain strong and collaborative partner relationships to facilitate sales of KnowBe4 products.Help create brand awareness for KnowBe4 products in the context of reseller interests.Establish relationships with partners, prospects and existing clients to support Partner Program objectives, leveraging corporate resources as appropriate.Address technical issues impeding the closing of sales opportunities.Work with Channel Account Managers to implement and manage technical proof-of-values (POVs) for prospective partners/clients.Act as primary technical contact for prospective partners/clients.Educate current partners on KnowBe4 products with emphasis on tech enablement.Investigate and document technical issues and communicate findings to the development team or clients as required.Create, maintain, and facilitate use of test environments for qualified partners.Assist Channel Account Managers in leveraging all available Sales Engineering resources according to policy and procedure.Minimum Qualifications:2 year degree or technical degree preferred2 years of technical sales or sales engineering experience requiredExperience with Gmail and Google DocsExperience with MS Office (Word and Excel)Excellent verbal and written communicationsHighly organized and result-orientedExcellent time management and organization skillsDemonstrated technical troubleshooting and analysis abilityDemonstrated integrity, accountability, respect and commitmentStrong collaborative and teamwork skillsMust be able to work with minimal supervisionWe offer bonuses based on monthly sales targets, employee referral bonuses, adoption assistance, tuition reimbursement, certification reimbursement, and a relaxed dress code in a modern, high-tech, and fun work environment.Equal Employment OpportunityIndividuals seeking employment at KnowBe4 are considered without prejudice to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, marital status, ancestry, disability, veteran status, gender identity, sexual orientation or any other characteristic protected under applicable law.
