The purpose of the role is to provide technical safety support across the site, ensuring compliance with UK regulations (DSEAR & COMAH) and effective process safety management.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver process safety and engineering support for site operations and projects. Lead and participate in safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA). Prepare safety documentation including HSE plans, safety specs, study reports and action management. Carry out hazardous area classification and risk assessments. Support compliance with UK health, safety and environmental legislation. Provide technical guidance during design reviews and commissioning activities. Contribute to continuous improvement of safety systems and practices.
