About the Role

We are on the lookout for an experienced Chiller Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge HVAC technology while delivering exceptional service and support to our valued customers.

What You Will Be Doing

• Troubleshooting, servicing, and commissioning industrial water chillers.
• Responding to service calls efficiently and conducting risk assessments before work.
• Performing maintenance, repair, and fault diagnosis on various Carrier and third-party chillers, including air-cooled, water-cooled, screw, scroll, centrifugal, and reciprocating systems.
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical and mechanical faults, troubleshooting complex technical issues both on-site and remotely.
• Commissioning standard and large-capacity chillers, ensuring compliance and providing technical advice to customers.
• Working closely with customers, attending meetings, and offering expert technical guidance with minimal supervision.
• Overseeing technicians on large sites and supporting junior engineers and apprentices.
• Ensuring adherence to F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards, while providing clear service reports via our digital platform.
• Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in areas such as centrifugal compressor rebuilds, absorption chillers, and chiller sequencing controls.

What We Are Looking For

• City & Guilds Qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• F-Gas Qualified (Category 1).
• HNC / ONC in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (preferred).
• Experience with Carrier and other manufacturers’ chillers and equipment.
• Ability to work on commercial and industrial HVAC systems, troubleshooting complex breakdowns.
• Full UK Driving Licence (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of refrigeration circuits, thermodynamics, and control systems.
• Experience in a Technician or Engineer role within the HVAC industry.
