Cisco engineer, Hybrid working based in Glasgow

Location: 3 days per week on-site in Glasgow, some travel may be expected to client sites.

Duration: Initially until the end of March, However, good scope for further extensions.

Clearance: none required, opportunity for SC sponsorship

Essential

  • Cisco Nexus (7k/VDC/FEX)
  • GRE, Route maps& filters
  • LACP/PAGP, STP, VSS, VRF
  • Cisco Multi-site VXLAN EVPN fabric support.
  • Ospf/bgp-ipv4/bgp-evpn/vxlan/multicast/cisco 9300 platforms in spine/leaf architecture
  • Experience working on and configuring wireless networks with radius/802.1x.
  • Cisco Meraki experience preferred - experience in other vendors will be considered.
  • Cisco ASA's - Build, configure, troubleshoot
  • Cisco Firepower - Build, configure, troubleshoot.
  • Cisco ISE
  • Excellent Troubleshooting capability, high degree of packet capture analysis.

Desirable

  • WAN - MPLS
  • F5 LTM/APM/AFM/ASM
  • Check Point Firewalls
  • SolarWinds Monitoring Configuration
