I'm currently working with a highly respected, award-winning civil and structural engineering consultancy in central London, who are looking to add a Civil Design Engineer to their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company known for its innovative work across residential, education, arts and urban regeneration projects. \n\nKey Responsibilities:\n

\n Prepare flood risk assessments and drainage strategies \n

Design surface and foul water drainage systems, including SUDS \n

Carry out earthwork volume calculationsPrepare Section 104, 106, 38 and 278 submissions \n

Coordinate build-over agreements \n

Use software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage \n

\n

You'll be working on your own smaller projects while supporting larger schemes under the guidance of experienced senior engineers. There's a good balance of autonomy and support here, ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career.

\n\nWhat They're Looking For:\n

\n 3-5 years experience in a similar civil engineering design role \n

Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D \n

Experience with drainage design software (MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, or Causeway Flow) \n

Solid understanding of UK design and approval processes \n

Ideally degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or similar \n
