A new opportunity for a Civil Design Engineer is available in Derby. As Civil Design Engineer you will be joininga talented team of Chartered, mid-level and graduate engineers in my Client'sCivils EngineeringDivision.

This role is ideal for a mid-level experienced Civil Engineer (2yrs+) who ishighly motivated andwho is aspiringto be an technically excellent design engineer. My clientcan provide you with a highly supportive and structure environment offering you the perfect platform from which to further progress career wise.

The Role Providing high quality concept, preliminary and detailed technical design on projectsrequiring highway and drainage design. Carrying out a range of drainage calculations, including QBar, attenuation storage, soakawaysizing, foul loads, pipeline capacities and network analysis for a range of drainageapplications. Carrying out a range of adoptable and non-adoptable highway,driveway carparking andfootpath structural pavementdesigns for a range of permeable and non-permeable surfaces. Preparing Developer Enquiries, Environment Agency product requests and LLFA informationrequests, relating to drainage designs, flood risk assessments and drainage strategies. Preparing S104, S106 and S185 application forms and associated packages for submissionto the Drainage Authority and Planning Authority. Preparing S184, S278 and S38 application forms and associated packages for submission tothe Highway Authority. Report writing, e.g. Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Flood Risk Assessments, DrainageStrategy Reports etc. Complying with designers duties under the CDM Regulations?

Qualifications / Experience Minimum 2:1 BSc/BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent At least 2 years post qualification experience in Civil and Structural engineering Full UK driving license and own transport
