Our client, a key player in the water sector, is currently seeking experienced Civil Design Engineers to join their team in Birmingham. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, including both clean and waste water projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and developing civil works for water-related projects Collaborating on multiple frameworks such as STW, Thames, Anglian, Southern, and Southwest Water Preparing detailed design calculations and drawings Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across different locations, including Exeter, Brighton, Birmingham, Bristol, London, Newcastle, and Liverpool Adhering to project timelines and budgets Ensuring accurate documentation and reporting for all design activities Participating in stakeholder meetings and providing technical input

Job Requirements:

Experience in civil engineering design within the water sector Strong understanding of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects Proficiency in relevant design software and tools Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment Willingness to start as soon as possible and work inside IR35 Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
