Overview

Our client is currently seeking Civil Design Engineers to join their team in Brighton, working within the water sector on a contract basis. This position offers a hybrid work model and falls inside IR35, providing an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to multiple frameworks including STW, Thames, Anglian, Southern, and Southwest Water.

Responsibilities

• Developing detailed civil designs for a mix of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects related to clean and waste water
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Conducting site assessments and investigations
• Preparing technical reports and documentation
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to project stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Managing project timelines and deliverables

Job Requirements

• Experience in civil engineering, specifically within the water sector
• Proficiency in civil design principles and relevant software
• Strong technical report writing and documentation skills
