My client is seeking to speak with highly motivated Civil Engineers with 3-6 years of UK-based experience for their Norwich office. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to a diverse range of infrastructure and development projects, with a particular focus on sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and flood risk assessments.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Support the design of surface water drainage systems in line with current UK regulations and best practice
  • Prepare and review Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies for planning applications
  • Design and model drainage systems using MicroDrainage and InfoDrainage
  • Liaise effectively with clients, local authorities, and other consultants to ensure smooth project delivery

    • Essential Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of post-graduate UK civil engineering experience
  • Knowledge of SuDS design principles and UK planning policies
  • Experience in using MicroDrainage and InfoDrainage software
  • Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Desirable:

  • Experience working across multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D or similar modelling software
  • Membership or working towards chartership with ICE or CIWEM
