Robert Walpole and Partners, a renowned UK-based engineering consultancy based in Slough, is seeking a Civil Engineer with expertise in the UK water industry to join our exceptional team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to prestigious projects, shape infrastructure development, and uphold our commitment to engineering excellence.Projects:Infrastructure: Trunk mains, distribution mains, and strategic connections.Non-Infrastructure: Production site civils and structural alterations.Key Responsibilities:Project Support and Leadership:Support and manage projects from initiation to completion.Provide technical expertise to project teams.Ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Client Engagement:Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.Collaborate with clients to understand objectives and deliver tailored solutions.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, structural engineers, and environmental specialists.Promote a collaborative and inclusive working environment.Quality Assurance:Implement quality control procedures to ensure the integrity of engineering designs.Review project deliverables to maintain the highest standards.Innovation:Stay informed about industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices.Contribute to innovative engineering solutions and sustainable practices.Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven record of successful project contributions.Working towards or holding Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognised institution (e.g., ICE) is desirable.Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and advanced structural analysis tools.Skills:Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and materials.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork capabilities.Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment.A strong commitment to safety, sustainability, and engineering excellence.If you are an experienced Civil Engineer ready to take on impactful water industry projects, we encourage you to apply.To apply, please send your CV, a cover letter detailing your relevant experience, and references to luke.fenlon@robertwalpole.co.uk, ensuring you include “Civil Engineer – Water” in the subject line. #J-18808-Ljbffr
