Role: Civil Engineer

Salary: £35,000 to £50,000

Our client, a Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy, are currently looking for a Civil Engineer with residential housing roads and sewers design experience to join their team based in Taunton. Salary dependant on experience up to £50k with a 37.5 hours flexible working week.

The Civil Engineer will have extensive experience with developing engineering and have at least 3 years' experience in the industry and would also look at an Associate. The Civil Engineer will have experience in experience with housing estate design S38/ S278/ S104/ S106/ S184/ S185 applications. They will also be proficient in Civils 3D/ Site 3D/ WinDes MicroDrainage.

The successful Civil Engineer will be able to develop new leads and contribute towards the success of the business. The Civil Engineer will also be working to either CEng, MICE, CMIHT or CIWEM. This is a great opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join an expanding team.

Civil Engineer Position Overview

· undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations

· using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs

· undertaking complex calculations

· liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors

· compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures

· resolving design and development problems

· managing budgets and project resources

Civil Engineer Position Requirements

· Degree Qualified

· 3-8 years' experience

· Be chartered or working towards chartership

· Experience with working within the residential sector

· Proficient in Civils 3D/ Site 3D/ WinDes MicroDrainage.

· Knowledge of S38/ S278/ S104/ S106/ S184/ S185 applications

· UK driving licence

Civil Engineer Position Remuneration

· Salary dependant on experience up to £50k

· 25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays

· 37.5 hours a week
