Thriving practice based in Birmingham is looking to expand their civil engineering team by recruiting a Civil Engineer, an individual able to undertake design work and coordinate with third parties such as clients, contractors, and Local Authorities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in the design of infrastructure related projects consisting of highways, drainage, earthworks and have current working knowledge of the use of Civils 3D, CAD, and drainage design software.

The team delivers a wide variety of consultancy services to a large client base, both local and national. The Transport & Infrastructure business are responsible for providing several engineering services across multiple sectors, at all stages of our client's project, from inception through to commissioning. You will be Working on challenging and multiple projects simultaneously, you will be undertaking preliminary and detailed design of roads, levels, drainage, and external works in both the public (adoptable) and private realm.

Requirements:

Undertake design for infrastructure projects, including 3D surface modelling and hydraulic drainage design. Represent client at contractor, and local authority meetings.
