You'll work on a wide range of projects from residential developments to renewable energy and commercial schemes.

What You'll Be Doing

Collaborating with internal infrastructure teams in Edinburgh and beyond to deliver ambitious projects Leading or supporting workstreams from feasibility and masterplanning through to detailed design and construction support Developing sustainable drainage strategies, highway infrastructure designs, and technical planning documents (e.g. Drainage Impact Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans) Preparing design drawings, reports, calculations, and levels/earthworks appraisals that align with industry standards Handling due diligence for land purchases and securing technical approvals for highways and drainage Working closely with transport planning, flood risk, air quality, and acoustics specialists to deliver joined‑up solutions

Candidate Profile & Requirements

Educated to HNC, HND, or degree level in Civil Engineering (or similar) Typically has 2-3 years' post-grad experience at Assistant Engineer level or 4+ years at Engineer level Chartered or working towards chartership ...
