We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer to support a major infrastructure project involving the installation of an 80km cable run starting at Hull. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and delivering method statements, risk assessments, and ensuring civil works meet safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for all civil works related to the cable installation. Support the planning and execution of the 80km cable route, including trenching, ducting, and reinstatement activities. Conduct site visits and collaborate with construction teams to ensure safe and efficient implementation of works. Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to maintain project timelines and quality standards. Monitor and report on progress, risks, and issues affecting civil elements of the project. Ensure compliance with relevant CDM Regulations, Health & Safety standards, and environmental obligations. Review and verify technical drawings, work packs, and construction documentation.
