Your Role

As an HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver, you will:

• Transport goods from station to station with reliability and safety.
• Enjoy the benefit of no loading/unloading—let us handle that for you!
• Utilize route navigation apps and your local knowledge to ensure timely deliveries.
• Interact professionally with stakeholders, showcasing a positive attitude.
• Conduct daily maintenance checks on delivery trucks and report any issues to your manager.

Requirements

To join our team, you’ll need:

• A valid C+E license and Driver CPC Card (or DQC Card).
• A minimum of 6 months HGV 1 driving experience.
• A clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements).
• Knowledge of UK driving regulations and compliance with tachograph and driver hours regulations.
• Flexibility to work up to 60 hours per week.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug/alcohol tests as permitted by law.
• Comfort with mobile phone applications (training will be provided if needed).

Working Conditions

As part of our team, you will:

• Work 5 days a week with 4 nights out.
• Engage in tramping work, driving exclusively from fulfilment centre to fulfilment centre.
• Experience variable shifts, typically 12 hours long.
• Enjoy an 11-hour daily rest on most days.
• Have opportunities for overtime.
