The Medical Equipment Management service ensures the safety and accuracy of equipment by managing the full life cycle of over 55,000 devices and completing over 60,000 jobs per year. The team comprises highly trained clinical engineer technologists who are experts on medical equipment and work across ten hospital sites in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.The opportunityYou will work as part of a team of clinical engineer technologists based in the Medical Team within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The role is permanent with a Monday to Friday working week. Duties vary day to day, from assisting in theatres with equipment failures, to commissioning new medical equipment, to performing planned maintenance in outpatient clinics.What We Love To SeeWe are looking for people who are passionate about medical equipment, patient safety, engineering and helping people.
