About The Role

StrikeWeb powers the control, telemetry, and coordination of autonomous robotic agents deployed in dynamic real-world environments. As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining the scalable cloud infrastructure that underpins this mission-critical system. This role is ideal for someone passionate about infrastructure as code, resilient distributed systems, and enabling high-velocity engineering across cloud platforms.

In this role you will get to

• Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports large-scale telemetry ingestion, command & control workflows, operational dashboards and track analytics.
• Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines that empower rapid development and safe deployment of cloud services across multiple environments.
• Lead efforts to improve observability, security, and reliability across StrikeWeb’s cloud platform, including incident detection and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with software, data, and robotics teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with evolving application needs and field conditions.
• Drive automation of provisioning, deployment, scaling, and failure recovery for mission-critical services.
• Mentor DevOps and platform engineers, promote best practices, and contribute to strategic technical direction.

Must have experience

• 5+ years in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles with production experience supporting scalable SaaS or telemetry-intensive applications.
• Expert-level proficiency with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including compute, storage, networking, IAM, and managed services.
• Deep familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and infrastructure-as-code frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Proficient in programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) with a focus on automation and system reliability.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, Datadog).
• Strong understanding of cloud-native networking, service discovery, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and security practices.

Nice to have experience

• Experience supporting edge-cloud integrations or hybrid cloud architectures.
• Exposure to IoT platforms, device telemetry ingestion, or real-time control systems.
• Familiarity with event-driven or streaming architectures (e.g., Kafka, MQTT, Pub/Sub).
• Operational experience managing postmortems, incident response processes, or security audits.
• Experience leading infrastructure migrations, greenfield platform rollouts, or reliability engineering initiatives.
• Contributions to infrastructure-related open-source projects or DevOps communities.
