Overview
As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you'll develop robust cloud infrastructure solutions that adhere to best practices in performance, security, and usability. You'll translate technical designs into real-world implementations, ensuring successful deployment and management, and you'll utilise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for the efficient deployment and management of cloud resources. With a culture of learning and continuous improvement here at Clarion, we'll look to you to mentor and develop technical analysts to enhance their skills and career growth. This is a hybrid role with a base location offered at one of our offices across England.
Occasional travel may be required.
Salary and locations vary by region:
- Location: Flexible / Hybrid
- London: £48,988 to £67,358 per annum
- National: £45,169 to £62,107 per annum
- Hours: 36 hours per week - flexible options considered
- Contract Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
• Design and deploy cloud infrastructure with a primary focus on Azure. Develop scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions. Translate solution architecture into manageable tasks and user stories. Apply best practices for performance, security, and usability. • Define and implement IaC to automate deployment and management of cloud resources. • Collaborate with teams to shape infrastructure design, implement DevOps workflows, and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub. • Mentor and develop technical analysts to enhance their skills and career growth. • Ensure compliance with your organisation’s AI usage guidelines and security standards.
Qualifications
- Significant experience designing and deploying cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on Azure.
- Proven experience as an Engineer, able to translate low-level designs into actionable tasks.
- DevOps skills with a Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification or equivalent experience.
- Strong working knowledge of GitHub for version control and CI/CD workflows.
About the Role & Requirements
• You must be eligible to work in the UK to apply for this vacancy; Clarion are not able to offer visa sponsorship. You are required to reside in England or Wales for the duration of your employment.
• This is a hybrid role with base locations across England and flexible working arrangements. Candidates will be expected to work from the office at least once per month.
