Overview

Infrastructure Engineer - Chippenham (2 days a week) - Up to £55k + Bonus + Benefits. We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for a well-established organisation undergoing a significant digital transformation. The role involves working across high level BAU and projects, with a focus on managing a transition to modern cloud infrastructure using Azure.

Responsibilities

• Work across global teams to design, develop, and maintain secure cloud services
• Engage in projects, systems maintenance, and provide support to ensure IT service delivery and system availability
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve IT service delivery and system availability
• Lead infrastructure upgrades and Azure-based deployments
• Drive automation, performance, and scalability across a diverse technical environment

Requirements / Qualifications

• Strong experience handling escalated support tickets within enterprise environments
• Proven track record delivering cloud-focused IT projects
• Azure architecture, design, and security knowledge
• Windows Server 2016+, O365, SharePoint, Exchange experience
• Scripting and automation knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
• Firewall, VPN, and secure service edge understanding
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical deliverables
