This is your chance to work with next-generation networking technologies, including Microsoft Azure Cloud Network Services and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architecture. Working in a small, agile team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate, learn, and grow while contributing to cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities Act as a key member of AFBI's cloud migration team, researching, evaluating, and recommending new technologies or redesigns of existing solutions. Contribute to the configuration and management of Azure cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability and timely resolution of issues. Oversee network onboarding processes for new users and systems, working closely with cross-functional teams. Configure and manage cloud networking services to enable secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments. Monitor cloud network usage and scale services in line with evolving business requirements. Support ongoing development of AFBI's Cloud-First hybrid infrastructure in line with best practices. Eligibility Criteria Applicants must, by the closing date for applications, demonstrate that they meet the following essential requirements: At least a Level 4 qualification in Computing, Software Engineering, or a discipline relevant to Information Systems and Information Technology. A minimum of 5 years' experience in network engineering, including designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level networks. At least 2 years' experience in deploying and managing Microsoft Azure services (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networking, and security). Strong understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. Proven experience with network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and endpoint protection. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot network and Azure-related issues using network analysis tools. Qualifications (essential): CompTIA Network+ Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA: Routing & Switching) Qualifications (desirable): CCNA: Security Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect) ITIL Foundation Note: If you hold a relevant or equivalent qualification, you must provide details (including modules studied and award date) to allow the selection panel to make a well-informed decision.
