We are seeking a permanent Platform Engineer to help scale and strengthen cloud operations. In this role, youll shape automation strategies, manage containerised environments, and build systems that empower engineering teams to deliver software quickly and securely. Youll act as a go-to expert for cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on resilience, efficiency, and compliance.

Platform Engineer Responsibilities Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions, primarily with Terraform Oversee and optimise Kubernetes clusters (with a focus on GKE ) Implement automation that reduces friction and operational overhead Provide expertise and guidance on cloud and containerisation best practices Ensure environments meet recognised compliance and security standards Build frameworks and documentation that enable development teams to self-serve effectively

Platform Engineer Requirements Strong track record working with Google Cloud Platform services and architecture Hands-on experience with large-scale Kubernetes environments Familiarity with Kubernetes toolchains such as Helm and kustomize Knowledge of GitOps methodologies and tools like ArgoCD Programming proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript Ability to produce clear, developer-focused documentation and support resources Excellent collaboration skills, with a mindset geared towards enabling internal engineering teams

Platform Engineer nice to have Exposure to AWS and use of the Cloud Development Kit (CDK) Previous experience maintaining observability stacks (e.g. Datadog ) Background in applying security-first approaches to cloud architecture
