Senior Cloud Security Engineer — Location: Manchester | Full-Time | 12 month contract | Hybrid 3 days per week in the office. Are you passionate about building secure, scalable cloud services? Join our dynamic team as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer and help shape the future of cybersecurity in a fast-paced, global environment.


Key Responsibilities



  • Design and enhance modern cloud-based cybersecurity services.

  • Implement secure authentication mechanisms (e.g., MFA, Passkeys).

  • Integrate with identity providers such as Auth0, Transmit Security, and Ping Identity.

  • Develop solutions to detect and prevent account takeover attempts.

  • Optimise the efficiency and resilience of cloud services.

  • Drive continuous improvement in technical standards, tools, and processes.

  • Translate business needs into technical requirements in collaboration with the Product Owner.

  • Oversee deployment and operations across development, testing, and production environments.

  • Collaborate with global teams in Australia and the U.S. to share insights and best practices.


Required Qualifications



  • Strong expertise in cloud computing and services (AWS experience preferred).

  • Proficiency in TypeScript and REST API development (NestJS experience preferred).

  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, networking, and encryption.

  • Experience with web services and microservices-based architectures.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies; experience with Scrum is a plus.

  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
