Cloud Support Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cloud Support Engineer to join a well-established and forward-thinking technology company, delivering innovative software solutions to clients across multiple sectors. You’ll play a key role in ensuring cloud platforms remain secure, stable, and high-performing, while driving automation and process improvements. This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in the office, with the rest working remotely.
Location: Shropshire – hybrid, 2 days per week in the office
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 benefits performance bonus
Requirements for Cloud Support Engineer:
Commercial experience managing Azure and AWS environments
Skilled in writing and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform
Proficient with Ansible and confident in maintaining clean, efficient playbooks
Strong understanding of cloud networking, including VPNs, firewalls, and proxies
Ability to troubleshoot across Windows, Active Directory, and complex cloud setups
Experience with SQL Server, SMTP, IIS, and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of cloud security standards such as ISO27001 and PCI-DSS
Experience using ticketing systems (e.g. Jira) and improving support workflows
Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakehold...
