CNC Manufacturing Engineer (NPI)- GKN Luton Standard Hours: 37 per week Duration: 6-8 months Other working hours information: General working Hours Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.15pm and Friday 7.30 until 4pm Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri Days (5 per week) **1 day per week working from home The Luton Engineering & Technology team is focused on developing product and manufacturing process technology related to aircraft ice protection systems, transparencies and coatings, and specialist structures for both civil and defence applications. We are looking for an experienced CNC Engineer to join our Industrialisation team on an interim basis to support the commissioning of a new machine including development and validation of machining programmes (composite components), configuration of an on-machine verification system and generation of process control and training documentation in line with QMS and APQP requirements up to production handover. Working with the site manufacturing engineering team, the post holder will create and execute the project plan to bring the system on line and capable of producing the complete product line with 100% compliance to Safety, Quality and rate manufacturing requirements whilst imparting knowledge into team to enable ongoing manufacturing support.
