Managing Consultant at Connected Consulting

Are you the go-to person when Zoom and Slack goes sideways? If you are, and you enjoy helping people get the most out of their tech tools then we love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the expert behind the scenes making sure the communication and collaboration tools run like clockwork. From Zoom meetings and webinars to Slack workspaces and custom apps, you’ll help colleagues stay connected and productive. You’ll also support other workplace tech like M365, and Teams, but the real focus is on Zoom and Slack

Your Day-to-Day Might Include:

• Managing Zoom admin portals (meetings, webinars, rooms, phones, signage)
• Owning Slack admin tasks (channels, invites, workspace setup, app creation)
• Support M365 tools like Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
• Helping colleagues adopt new features and tools
• Working with vendors to stay ahead of updates and improvements
• Handling IT support issues and keeping things running smoothly

Key Experience Required:

• Expert knowledge of managing Zoom & Slack admin portals within a complex business
• Knowledge of M365 applications
• Ability to identify process improvements and automate activities
• Great communication skills with the ability to regularly engage with end users and globally distributed teams

Contract Duration & Working Policy

Initial contract duration is 6 months, with the potential to further extend. Hybrid working places are in place for this role, with 2 days onsite (Cambridge) required each week.
