Pure Search are instructed by one of the leading names in the TMT market who are looking to grow their Commercial Tech team at 4PQE+ (Associate or Senior Associate).

The Firm:

Our client is an international law firm who work with some of the most highly-regarded names in the Technology, Media and AI, as well as a number of household brands, advertising companies and entertainment conglomerates.

The Role:

You will focus on deals where technology is at the core of the transaction, as well as advising on digital products, regulatory matters and AI. This is not a corporate support role and instead you will be exposed to some of the most fascinating commercial advisory work in the market.

This will include:

• General commercial - licensing, distribution, joint ventures and procurement
• Outsourcing - advising on high-value outsourcing transactions covering IT infrastructure and business process outsourcing
• AI - working with some of the world's leading AI companies, you will advise on everything from launches through to risk management programmes
• Digital transformation and regulation - advising on adtech, fintech, blockchain, and providing advice on how the new wave of EU regulations apply to the firm's clients
• Telecoms - network infrastructure projects and “over the top” providers of communication solutions on everything from establishment in the UK to consumer, privacy, advertising and telecoms regulatory issues

About You:

You will be a Commonwealth-qualified Solicitor (preferably England & Wales, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa) with at least 4-years post-qualification experience of commercial tech/IT matters. You will have had exposure to any/all of the matters above, with a preference for candidates with experience of either outsourcing, AI or telecoms matters.

You will be at a stage where you are looking for an improved work/life balance but without dropping in terms of quality of work and will want to join a firm where you see scope for both secondment opportunities and a clear path for career progression to partner over the coming years.
