Job Description Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer – FM Service Provider – Cambridge & Surrounding areas – £50,000 per annum!

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across several contracts based in Cambridge and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This position would be ideal for a Mobile Commercial gas engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression and a role closer to home. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £50,000 with a potential route into further career progression. The successful candidate will be Gas Safe commercial gas qualified with COCN1 or CODNCO1 as a minimum. Extensive experience in commercial building maintenance is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in boilers, burners and boosters.

Package & Working hours:

\n Basic Salary of up to £50,000

\n

Monday – Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm

\n

Travel time paid other than the first and last half hour

\n

1 hour paid lunch break.

\n

Call out 1 in 11, when called out min of 4 hours paid

\n

Holidays: 33 days – 25 standard with 8 stat days

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

\n You will be responsible for delivering, services, repairs and maintenance throughout commercial properties.

\n

Reactive maintenance throughout client portfolio of properties

\n

Self-delivery of smaller installations

\n

Cover a portfolio of contracted buildings repairing and maintaining various systems.

\n

Have the ability to diagnose and identify faults and failures within the equipment

\n

Order and fit parts or components to the equipment when required.

\n

Reactive and planned commercial maintenance.

\n

Providing high level of customer service and building strong relationship

\n

\n Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators (KPI) / service level agreements (SLA) are met.

\n

Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical, mechanical and building fabric disciplines.

\n

Requirements:

\n Commercial gas qualifications – COCN1 CORT1 CIGA1 TPCP1 &1A ICPN1

\n

Ability to service and fault find on commercial gas appliances using electrical testing equipment.

\n

Ability to use own initiative to problem solve in challenging situations.

\n

Industry standard completed apprenticeship.

\n

Full clean driving license

\n

Reliable, punctual, and flexible to support the role and all members of the team.

\n

Able to work alone under limited supervision.

\n

Able to operate handheld electronic device.

\n

Domestic gas qualifications – CENWAT, Gas boosters – BMP (Desirable)

\n

Forced draught burner experience. (Desirable)
