Commercial Gas Engineer

Up to £55k


Engineer location: Based in Oxfordshire, Berkshire or Buckinghamshire

Work location: South (Home Counties predominantly)

Duration: Permanent


This position is for an Commercial Gas Engineer to work within our clients service and maintenance team, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. The successful applicant will be experienced in all forms of planned and reactive maintenance on all heating and hot water boilers and package burners, testing and purging of gas installation pipework and works on associated systems i.e. pumps, valves, fans etc.


Mandatory qualifications and requirements:

  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Holding a minimum of the following Gas qualifications: Commercial i.e. COCN1 (or suitable chaneover), CIGA1, CORT1, CPA1, DAH1, ICPN1, HTR1 and TCP1
  • Holding a minimum of the following plumbing qualifications: City and Guilds level 3, Water regulations (WRAS) and Unvented water regulations (G3)
  • Microsoft essential suite i.e. Word, Excel etc
  • Must be willing to travel when required


Preferred qualifications and requirements:

  • Any Industrial Gas, Oil or plumbing experience or qualifications.
  • Any gas booster or compressor servicing, installation or maintenance experience.
  • Any renewable energy experience or qualifications i.e. Solar, ASHP etc.
  • PASMA scaffold tower qualifications.
  • IPAF mobile elevated working platform qualifications.
