Call Out: 1 in 6, 120 retainer fee, minimum 4h pay.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to work on a key account to conduct work that provides a multi-skilled maintenance service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks on commercial gas systems and associated equipment.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and digital reports accurately and on time.
• Conduct fabric maintenance and basic electrical tasks as required under contract.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current legislative standards and health & safety regulations.
• Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 6) to provide out-of-hours support to clients.
• Support colleagues when required and assist with supervision of sub-contractors, ensuring high standards of work and safety compliance.
• Identify and communicate remedial work requirements and assist in quoting and sourcing information for additional works.
• Issue Permits to Work and manage escort duties and small works where necessary.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance, testing, and fault finding, including work on boiler plant, pumps, ventilation, and control systems.
• Competence in basic electrical and general building services tasks.
• Strong understanding of health & safety practices and safe systems of work.
• Ability to work independently, use handheld technology effectively, and manage time efficiently across multiple sites.
