Commercial Gas Engineer Opportunity\n£50k+ Package\nPrestigious Clients\nCompany growth\nSummary\nWe are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated commercial gas engineer to carry out a broad range of planned and reactive gas tasks in Birmingham and surrounding regions.\nBenefits: Company van (personal use), fuel card, Employee Assistance Programme, company performance bonus, 33 days holiday, medical insurance, death in service, critical illness cover, sick pay\nKey Responsibilities include (but not limited to)\n * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the estate as directed by Contract Manager (within capabilities and training)\n * Work on own or as part of team to meet required deadlines and contract performance standards\n * Work flexible working hours to suit business requirements\n * Be on out of hours call out rota, attend emergency mechanical repair works as required\n * Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, end users on site and general public at all\n * Escalate issues to Supervisor/Contract Manager immediately.\n * Work on own or as part of team to meet required deadlines and contract performance standards\n * Liaise with site staff to gain access to sites and rooms to carry out maintenance tasks\n * Assist contract supervisor to produce repair quotations\n * Any other tasks required by company within skill set / experience\nMinimum Requirements / Qualifications\nEssential\n * Domestic / Commercial gas certification CCN1, CENWAT, CODNCCO1, CDGA1 and CIGA1.\n * Recognised Health & Safety training\n * Good written and verbal communication skills\n * Ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction\n * Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation\n * Full driving licence\n * Pass DBS / Police background checks for working in schools / Police stations\nDesirable\n * NVQ 2/3 in relevant Mechanical discipline (or equivalent experience)\n * OFTEC registered technician or knowledge / experience working on oil fired appliances / systems\n * Unvented water systems\n * WRAS Qualification\nElectrical safety training\nIPAF / PASMA qualification\nBenefits\n * £48,000 per annum DOE\n * Annual Bonus\n * Overtime\n * 33 Days Holiday\n * Ipad\n * Iphone\n * Vehicle\n * Private Healthcare\n * Contributory Pension
