Commercial Gas Engineer \n 47.6k, Van, Extensive Benefits, OT available\n Portsmouth area only\n Interview, Start ASAP\n\nLarge social housing maintenance specialist is looking for a skilled and experienced commercial gas engineer that can work alone on commercial plant rooms and occasionally domestic boilers. This well established management team will support and train the suitable commercial gas engineer on a contract that they have had for over 15 years. This role is a Monday to Friday 42.5 hour week with no call out rota or weekend work required.\n\nResponsibilities for the Commercial Gas Engineer will include: \n\nService, maintenance and breakdown of commercial and domestic gas and solid fuel heating systems.\nCarry out planned and reactive maintenance.\nUndertake PPM activity.\nComplete paperwork including production of technical and situational reports.\nReport all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards.\nUndertake all other maintenance works within remit.\nParticipate in out of hours works, including overtime and call out.\n\nWhat we are looking for in our ideal Commercial Gas Engineer:\n\nThe right person for this role will have a solid background in Commercial gas and heating as well as all relevant commercial gas qualifications NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent.

CODNCO1, COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, TPCP1, TCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT and applicable domestic qualifications. COMCAT, CCCN1, CCLNG1 OFTEC, LPG, ASHP, UNVENTED and Solar/Renewable qualifications are desirable but not essential.\nExcellent gas knowledge of current gas legislation and regulations\nLocal authority or social housing experience with knowledge of a variety of Commercial Domestic appliances and installations\nPossess comprehensive technical skills along with extensive experience in commercial fault finding and rectification.\nComprehensive knowledge, both domestic and commercial of most major manufactures i.e. Valliant Powermatic, Riello, Broag, Combat, Ambi Rad, Ideal, Potterton, Nu Way and Worcester etc.\nGood all round knowledge of heating systems with controls BMS knowledge desirable.\nGood plumbing skills.\nFull driving license.\nUnderstanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice.\nPlease apply online with your updated CV
