Commercial Booster & Ventilation Engineer

Location: Wandsworth and surrounding areas.

Salary: £40,000 per year, plus call outs.

Hours: Monday Friday, 8am 5pm.

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Commercial Booster & Ventilation Engineer to join their ever-expanding team.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Booster & Ventilation Engineer:

Complete the PPM agreed schedule ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.

To respond (promptly and positively) to service and breakdown requests, assess the requirements of the job, carrying out repairs/replacements as necessary within agreed timescales/response times and updating the call and job status afterwards.

Carry out service, maintenance and testing on water boosters & ventilation systems including but not limited to commercial ventilation systems, in flat ventilation, MVHRs, and commercial water boosters.

To identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings and offer recommendations regarding suitable replacement

Carry out maintenance, repair and replacement of control systems & panels.

All works to be completed according to our Health, Safety & Environmental policies specification paying particular attention to electrics, working at heights and manual handling.

Requirements of the Commercial Booster & Ventilation Engineer:

Create and support a safety first working culture

You will hold recognised qualifications Min NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Heating & Ventilation

F Gas (2079) qualified (Desirable)

17th or 18th Edition (Desirable, however - A safe understanding of both single, three phase and safe isolation is essential)

Understand the requirements set out in Building Regs F, when working with ventilation.

Liaise and communicate effectively with all parties including other engineers, our office team, suppliers and clients.

You will be professional, pleasant, friendly, flexible, courteous, and helpful at all times whilst having a hands-on, can-do approach to your work.

A positive approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment (and adapt accordingly), but above all be committed to the delivery of outstanding customer service.

Experience of Boosters & Ventilation systems in a multi-site environment.

Support Emergency Call Out rota for out of hours emergencies

Full Driving Licence and willing to travel on a daily basis.
