Responsibilities

  • Commissioning Engineer position dealing with a range of smart lighting and lighting control systems
  • Carry out preventative planned maintenance, commission, servicing and testing on commercial smart light systems
  • Offer aftersales care / technical advice to customers and end users
  • IP network configuration of routers, gateways, and user interfaces
  • Complete all relevant documentation (H&S, snags, SARs & completed works)
  • Identify system upgrade opportunities and liaise with KAM

Qualifications

  • Must have commissioning, servicing and testing experience within the smart lighting market sector
  • ECS Card / CSCS Card
  • 18th Edition / 19th Edition electrical qualification
  • Familiar with DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface)
  • Knowledge and experience in configuring routers, gateways, and user interfaces for IP networks
  • Physically capable to carry 10kg backpack daily to site
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • IT Literate

  • Area to be covered: M4 / M5 Corridor (Birmingham to Bristol)
  • Remuneration: £44,000 - £53,000
  • Benefits: Pension, Health Care, Life Assurance & 25 days annual leave
