Due to an expanding order book for PLC, Electrical, Industrial Automation Systems, we're seeking a skilled engineer to join my customers' engineering team in a dual-focused role combining some office- based PLC programming with hands-on site electrical and controls commissioning across the UK and Europe. What You'll Do Office-Based (25% of time): PLC programming control software using Siemens S7 TIA systems (sometimes assisting Senior Controls Engineers, maybe gaining more PLC software exposure, adding to your skills). Perform system modifications and upgrades, debugging, fault finding. Work from the Company's Northamptonshire facility Site-Based Commissioning (75% of time): Commission electrical and control systems for new materials handling projects Verify electrical and mechanical installations Download and modify PLC software on-site Conduct electrical reworking and control panel checks Oversee initial production runs and provide customer training Manage project handovers to clients Travel requirements: 10-14 days for European projects, shorter durations for UK site visits The Company Offers Competitive salary up to £51,000 Plus Paid overtime opportunities 33 days annual leave Pension contributions Comprehensive benefits package What We're Looking For Elec...
