Job Description

We are seeking a National Grid approved CDAE / LCDAE Commissioning Manager to join our team, supporting renewable energy projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to play a key role in delivering high-profile infrastructure, with flexibility to work predominantly remotely.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate commissioning activities on CDAE / LCDAE projects.
  • Ensure full compliance with National Grid standards, regulations, and industry best practice.
  • Develop and implement detailed commissioning plans and schedules.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and timely project delivery.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical or commissioning issues.
  • Provide regular reports and progress updates to both client and project teams.


Requirements:

  • National Grid CDAE or LCDAE approval (essential).
  • Strong commissioning management experience within power, substations, or renewable energy projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK regulations, grid standards, and safety requirements.
  • Proven ability to lead commissioning teams and liaise effectively with clients and contractors.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.


Contract Details:

  • 6–12 month contract.
  • London / Wimbledon base – predominantly remote with travel to site as needed.
