Overview

Commissioning Engineer – Thames Water Projects. Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + car allowance + benefits. Location: Thames Valley Region. We’re looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join a tier 1 contractor delivering key Thames Water projects. This role will see you play a vital part in managing and delivering commissioning across mechanical, electrical, and public health services.

Responsibilities

• Preparing commissioning plans, procedures, and strategies.
• Reviewing designs, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Attending site commissioning meetings and progress reviews.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory authorities and client sign-off.
• Managing snagging issues and post-completion commissioning support.

What You’ll Need

• Background in commissioning within water/utilities projects.
• SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS essential.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel across the Thames Valley region.
• Proactive and collaborative approach.
