Commissioning Engineer Up to 70k + car allowance UK based travel

The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible cold commissioning various projects all around the UK and mentoring young aspiring commissioning technicians. A strong understanding of cold commissioning 11-33kV switchgear. Liaising with customers representatives and delivering switchgear installations for various manufacturers such as Siemens, Schneider, Ormazabal, ABB etc.

Key Accountabilities

Mentor up and coming Test & Commissioning technicians. Carry out and document all tasks associated with the pre-commissioning / commissioning of the equipment. Be responsible in handing over a fully operational system for acceptance by the customer. Ensure health and safety procedures and standards are followed on site. Ensure all Health and safety documentation is filed, maintained and updated on site. Ensure commissioning schedules, handover and witnessing documents are updated, maintained, completed and filed / issued to project manager prior to project completion. Carry out factory acceptance testing when required, Site acceptance testing and customer witnessing. Ensure sites are cleared of equipment and materials / products prior to handover / completion.
