Commissioning Engineer – Water Framework (Wastewater & Process Commissioning)
Surrey | Contract -  6-Month Rolling | Up to £500/day (Outside IR35, Ltd Company)
A civil engineering business is looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join their team delivering major AMP8 water and wastewater projects across the Southeast.
This is a rolling six-month contract offering the opportunity to lead commissioning activities on live wastewater sites — with a particular focus on chemical dosing systems, MEICA installations, and process upgrades. You’ll play a key part in bringing critical assets into service safely and efficiently, supporting the client’s long-term investment in environmental and network resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end commissioning delivery across wastewater treatment and process improvement schemes. Develop commissioning strategies, plans, and reports from early design through to site handover. Coordinate testing and integration with existing assets, ensuring compliance with WIMES and client standards. Oversee subcontractors and on-site teams to maintain quality, safety, and programme targets. Liaise with client operations teams to support smooth transition and asset adoption.
