Compliance Engineer

We’re hiring for two Compliance Engineers to join a specialist engineering business based in Macclesfield.
In this role, you’ll work with global clients on machinery safety and compliance, ensuring equipment meets strict international standards.

* £50,000 - £65,000 per year
* 40 hour week with flexible start times between 7am – 9am

What will you be doing as a Compliance Engineer?
* Assessing machinery for compliance with UK and international legislation
* Drafting technical files and compliance reports
* Conducting inspections, witnessing tests, and auditing ISO9001 standards
* Providing training to clients on machinery safety
* Attending seminars and committees on evolving standards
* Balancing office-based work, client site visits, and international projects
What do you need?
* Degree-qualified in Engineering (or equivalent)
* Strong background in machinery and compliance
* Willingness to travel (up to 10 days per month, including overseas)
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a logical approach
* Integrity, impartiality, and a strong focus on customer care
