Together with our client we are seeking a practical, detail-focused Compliance Engineer with a plumbing background to carry out statutory compliance tasks across a static site. This hands-on role involves scheduled testing, monitoring, and preventative maintenance works to ensure building water systems meet legal and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of plumbing systems and previous experience delivering compliance tasks such as tap temperature monitoring, TMV servicing, and showerhead descaling. Key Responsibilities: Carry out water temperature monitoring and record results in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance Perform descaling and disinfection of taps, showerheads, and outlets to control Legionella risk Inspect, service, and replace thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs) as required Complete and update all compliance records, logs, and service sheets accurately and on time Identify and report any non-compliant systems, equipment failures, or remedial requirements
