The Component Engineers play an important role within the group and the wider business by providing technical advice. You will ensure the delivery of a comprehensive component service, ensuring data accuracy and risk assessment for components used in MBDA designs.

Salary:

Circa £33,000 depending on experience

Working Arrangements:

Hybrid working: 2 days per week on-site

Security Clearance:

British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions may apply based on nationality and/or work rights.

The Opportunity:

Due to increasing workload, MBDA is offering an exciting opportunity within the UK Component Engineering team for a dedicated individual to develop into a skilled Component Engineer. You will learn to select, vet, and catalogue mechanical, electronic, electrical, and electromechanical components used in missile products.

You will gain in-depth knowledge of the latest products and technologies to support customer advice. Regular visits to stakeholders and suppliers will help keep your knowledge current. Additionally, you will have the chance to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives at both local and international levels.

What We're Looking For:

Knowledge or experience in electrical or electronic engineering
Understanding of components and suppliers
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proactiveness and self-motivation to improve oneself and processes
