Composites Design Engineer (SC Cleared)

We are seeking a highly skilled Composites Design Engineer to join our client's team in Bristol; this role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in Aerospace or other high-performance engineering environments.

Role: Composites Design Engineer

Location: Bristol

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days on-site, 2 days remote

Contract Type: Full-time, 6-month minimum (potential to extend)

Rate: opened to conversations

Security Clearance: active SC level is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop composite components using Siemens NX.

• Lead projects from initial concept through to final design release.

• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in Aerospace or similar high-level engineering environments.

• Proficiency in Siemens NX and Fibresim CAD software.

• Strong knowledge of composite materials and their applications.

• Experience in tooling design and design for manufacture.

• Ability to manage the full design lifecycle from concept to release.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
