Job Title: CAD Engineer

Department: Engineering Operations – Virtual Build & Test

Employment Type: Contract (12 Months), Hybrid (3 Days On Site)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Author to join our Virtual Build & Test team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality CAD modifications to support digital validation and virtual build activities across the product lifecycle. Working within the Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE platform, you’ll ensure CAD data meets engineering and CAE requirements, directly impacting the development of our next- vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver CAD modifications in line with engineering requirements and deadlines.

• Collaborate with Engineers and CAE teams to ensure modifications meet validation needs.

• Lead/support CAE Alignment Reviews to validate CAD changes.

• Provide compatible CAD data for virtual series and digital validation.

• Adhere to CAD standards, best practices, and JLR working methods.

• Gather feedback to improve CAD quality and effectiveness.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• CAD & PLM Systems: Proficiency in CATIA V5 and Teamcenter.

• Automotive Product Development: Strong understanding of processes and standards.

• CAD Standards: Knowledge of modeling best practices.

• Problem-Solving: Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Collaboration: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE (CATIA V6) proficiency.

• Experience in virtual series/digital engineering environments.

• Familiarity with JLR systems and standards.
